Ardream PK

This is what I learned as non-rogue character:

Never town. If you town, use escape to save all your party.

Don't rely on priest for heal. Stock up on pots, weapon enchants, armor enchants and if priest is unavailable 1500 HP scrolls. 1500 HP scrolls last for 30 minutes regardless of dying. Generally sw is available, but speed pots are good too so you don't have to wait around town. Other rogues will 60% of the time offer sw freely from town even if you're not in their party, but give them something back in exchange like fire resist, ac, light resist...you know your special buff skills that can be passed to non party members.

Rogues need to remember to give sw immediately to all their respawned party members.

Don't follow an invisible sin, let the sin follow you. Act as the target, even if you die, your sin party member will kill the other player and regain some np for you.

Don't worry so much about resistance accessories. Use accessories that will up your ap. There's not too many killer mages.

Mages should use one aoe skill. Hitting invisible sins will make them visible for a short time. So if there's more than one, they can now be targeted by all parties.

Town spikers are visible for a short time upon entering town gates. They don't normally come in straight ahead, so look to your left and right. If your a town sitter, hide in a monument or by innkeeper.

KSing is okay. The only good orc is a dead orc.

Stay with a large group of humans, even if they are not in your party. A bigger group of people will single out the strongest pkers and own his ass.

Dying is okay.

You sit in it as much as you can. It's use of a visual bug.

hmmm, dont use escape to tp all the party members.
if they r all with you and in deep doo-doo then use escape, but if some people r ok then dont do it or else they'll jus get made at u for tping em while they were on the hunt.

use frozen blade (sry i kept calling it iceblade jaz ), wenever ur doin upclose combat and slide to make the melee atks fail.

wen people use stealth or hide they cannot b seen w/o lupines or cat's eyes. however, even wen u do hav those skills on u will not b able to see them from a normal distance. You hav to get pretty close to c an invisible person if u hav lup. jus be careful so u dont accidentally run into a mob of sins.

rotate ur camera once in a while or else u'll get backstabbed a lot.

Use "wounding" skills on sins that u suspect will go invis. since these skills deal constant dmg they will not b able to stealth for a period of time.

KSing is ok sometimes... but a lot of people may get pissed at u. As you gain more respect in the pk zone u prob dont wanna ks as much to look like a noob.

Everyone should try going out solo once in a while, its good experience cause u learn stuff the HARD WAY. and sins should try going w/o an hp buff. u mite get 1 hit but its fun

and whatever u do RESPECT A VS ( a 1v1). wen u c 2 players duking it out, pls dont atk them watch em play it out cause its a show of who's stronger.

sins try to practice ur minor combo and ur minor skills. U will b healing ur party members as well as urself.

How do you slide? W-R combo doesn't work in PK. You get stopped dead in front of player. It's not like mob action.

instead of goin thru people go to the right or left of them. Try to nudge past them so u dont bump into them

Hmm. I'm a big mouse user. My strongest left hand use is W-R for straight target, 3,4,5 and Z-R. Mouse covers almost everything else. Only use 1,2 for pots, so only need those occassionally. I would look terrible on video.

here's some shortcuts for dcz pk i use.

actions

111111- run
55555- fight
66666- stealth

Location of enemies

Ob- orc base
town- human base

Obr- orc bridge
hbr- human bridge
right- goin towards orc bridge
left- goin toward human bridge
bowl- center

12- the enemy is in front of ur character ( the direction ur char is lookin at, NOT the direction ur camera is facing)

6- enemies behind
3- enemies on right
9- enemies on left

dcz coords. Know these coords to find out where the action is at and where the parties are currently. just look at the first set of coords (the X coords) to get a general idea of where people are.

100-300, somewhere near town
300-500, in or near bowl
700-800, near orc base

if u pk more often u'll start remembering names of people. This way u can hunt people down or avoid people. For example, If u c a long list of orc names at coords 450, u kno that a lot of orcs are in the bowl.

we need to post a list of orcs to avoid if possible, unless u think u can take them.

try to avoid following clans. BadBoys, DeathNTaxes, and ACME

sayswho from deathntaxes is a major BDW pissoff. He's DCZ char, Deadstroke, i dont kno.

the last time i got pissed off at a bdw orc he ended up nation transfering along with some of his clannies XD and i became good friends w/ em lol.

and they ended being...

and i called xww4ever (aka elewen) "an annoying bastard" and hav been good friends since then

is that pretty much they spotted a mig behind them and launched a SAM to annihilate it but the SAM went to the Sierrrra Hotel were it saw 1 eagle and 2 foxes who made evasive manuevers and then said make it so

WOODSTOCK i knew was an orc, but i never knew lovemii was. And i'm pretty friendly with this Deadstroke/Sayswho guy.

bogey=pursuer
bandit=enemy
some numbers are squadron members, some code, and some direction.
tally=count one, like there's a mig
evasive maneuvers=when they launch a SAM(Surface to Air Missile, the extra Missile Raz added when he said SAM Missile was redundant).
Flying Dirty Bird= I'm assuming thats the evasive maneuver they're using.
When he says Corvette 1 requesting vector to tanker= The leader of Corvette squadron wants a lane or permission to get to the Tanker plane to refuel in midair.

I could be wrong about all of this.

And i have no idea wat this has to do with DCZ.

All seperate commands. None of them were redundant. You were dorrect about most of them, except for the flying dirty bird one. Flying dirty bird means that you are flying with landing gear down.

are you in the air force?
if so do you have any aviators to go with it

back to ardream stuff
if you have a ranged attacks and orcs are camping the base, try attacking people hanging back from the front, they are usually a lower level and just tagging along

read a Tom Clancy book and learnt some of that stuff.

his books get a bit boring... but i liked Rainbow 6
